History: Presented for vomiting and diarrhoeaUsually very enrgetic and robust dog. Yesterday vomited and became lethargic, passing watery diarrhoea that at times had some fresh blood in it. Inappetent today. Overdue 1st yearly vax but had all puppy vax on time. On chicken carcasses and dry food usually had not had previous troubles with this. No known dietary indsicretion.Examination: QAR, nervous, BCS 4/9, DS 0/5, MM p and tacky, slight skin tentAbdo palp - some discomfort cranial abdomen, no palpable abnormalitiesT wnl, rectal exam just some watery faecesAssessment: Gastroenteritis - ddx infectious, inflammatory, dietary indiscretionTreatment: Discussed hospitalization vs concervative care - closing in 45min so unable to hospitalize here, o keen to try conservative care firstPrevomax 1.4ml inj given, home on pro-koilinBland diet at home, small meals, starting in an hour or twoPlan: Discussed if does not start eating by tomorrow morning or is still very lethargic revisit at Kilsyth and consider hosp/ivft    Vital Signs
