Hx: Adopted/rescued around 1 week ago. Was in kennels. Has a 3/4 day hx of dry cough and hacking. EDDU normal, no V+, no D+. Has another few dogs at home, hard to separate. Still very active, no signs of lethargy. PE- Mentation: BAR- HR: NAD- RR: NAD- CRT/MM:<2secs/ pink and moist- Eyes: NAD- Ears: NAD- Dental: NAD- Integument: NAD- Abd: NAD- MSK: NAD- Neuro: NADTrachel pinch test -ve Assessment1. Pyrexia/cough --> suspect CIRDC Plan- Keep isolated - Ensure good hydration - Doxycycline 5mg/kg PO BID 7 days- Meloxicam 0.1mg/kg SC today
