Did not want breakfast this morning though had dinner and water normally yesterday. Had zoomies for 20 minutes this morning. Owner reports he has habit of eating inappropriate items, particularly glue. Noted increased cricket activity in house past 48 hours with many found dead/missing limbs - suspect he may have been chewing them. Physical examination revealed no abnormalities in oral cavity, throat, or systemic examination. Heart and lung sounds normal. No evidence of foreign body or trauma. Clinical findings consistent with acute laryngitis, likely self-limiting condition possibly secondary to environmental irritants, allergens, or excessive vocalisation.TREATMENT:Conservative management recommended. Nebulisation therapy using bathroom steam during owner's baths. Soft food diet for 5-7 days to ease swallowing. Activity restriction and quiet environment for rest. Pain relief available if required but not prescribed at this time.PLAN:Monitor closely for 48 hours. Continue conservative management with nebulisation and soft food. Re-evaluate if condition worsens or fails to improve within 2-5 days.
