History: presented for a bandage change post fracture of the LPL digit 5, diagnosed 12 days ago.Examine: bandage is dry. But has discharge on the plantar surface of the foot in the bandage. No swelling on the limb.Cleaned foot with diluted chlorhex solution and dried before replacing bandage.New modified RJB placed with softban, conforming bandage, elastoplast and vetwrap.Stirrups were placed.Recheck and replace in 7d - or earlier if any signs of discomfort or pain, or if bandage is slipping or soiled. Strongly remind owner that Chandler is meant to be strictly rested and no running/jumping/playing etc. Offered sedatives.
