Reason: Health CheckHistory: Smells like she used to prior to heats, but was desexed in Dec (~3mth ago). O describes as overwhelming.Previously behaviour around heats - wouldn't eat, sooky. Not showing any of these signs now. But is mounting Os other 1yo border collie (Dixie's grandson). No discharge, no vulval swelling. These used to occur when the smell was present. Had been on heat 2wks prior to desexing. EDDU normalNo VDCSNo ear irritationExamine: BAR, excitable, but good for examCVS: mm pink <2s slight tacky, HR wnl, no murmur or arrhythmiaResp: normal RR and effort, normal BVS all fieldsInteg: coat smooth, clean, well-groomed. No dags. LNs: submandib and popliteal wnlAbdo: soft, comfortable, no distension, no palpable massesOral: moderate calculus on teeth. Urogen: normal vulva, no swelling, no dischargeNo mammary tissue developmentEars smell yeasty, and general wet-dog smell. Had O smell ears, this was not the correct smell. But otherwise no identifiable scents - KLP couldn't identify on-heat smell. Assessment: No signs consistent with oestrus. Unclear source of what O is smellingPlan: Monitor. If develops signs of oestrus, then AMH testingCommunication: - no identifiable smell, other than yeasty ears and wet dog. Could also be halitosis, though not overt on exam. - on our radar is potential ovarian remnant. This is a rare complication of OVH. However, no other signs to suggest this - mounting may be oestrus behaviour, but could also just be dominance behaviour. Monitor for now, revisit if she develops signs of oestrus - may consider a blood test that looks for remnant gonadal tissue.    Vital Signs    Weight: 25.5;       BodyScore: 7/9;
