<p>EXAM<br>Mentation: BAR<br>Wt: 6.7 kg (previously 6.5 kg)<br>BCS: 5/9<br>T: 38.5°C<br>HR: 120<br>R: 28<br>MM: pink &amp; moist, CRT &lt;2 sec <br>Hydration: normal<br>Behavioural: Anxious but cooperative during examination. Readily accepts treats.<br>Eyes: NAD<br>Ears: NAD<br>Nose: NAD<br>Oral: Teeth in good condition with daily dental care<br>Cardiovascular: NAD<br>Respiratory: NAD<br>Abdominal: NAD<br>Lymph Nodes: Normal on palpation<br>Integumentary: 3-4mm diameter rounded lump on left hip area. Macroscopically appears consistent with sebaceous cyst but unclear.<br>Neurologic: NAD<br>Musculoskeletal: NAD<br><br>Diagnostics: Fine needle aspirate of left hip mass - unable to determine cytology in-house, sample sent to pathologist</p>
<p>ASSESSMENT<br>Left hip cutaneous mass - DDx: sebaceous cyst vs other skin neoplasia. FNA performed but cytology inconclusive in-house.<br>Otherwise apparently healthy</p>
<p>TREATMENT:<br>Vaccinations:<br>- sr12 0.33 ML  administered SC<br>- Kennel cough vaccine administered<br>- Milpro &amp; Bravecto given oral <br><br>PLAN:<br>Diagnostics:<br>- FNA cytology sent to pathologist for definitive diagnosis. Cost discussed at $210. Results will determine if surgical removal required for malignant lesions.</p>
<p>Medications/Treatments:<br>- Milpro tablet (intestinal worming) administered<br>- Bravecto 3-monthly tablet (fleas and ticks) administered<br>- Proheart SR12 0.33mL SC (heartworm prevention)</p>
<p>Client Comms:<br>- Advised normal post-vaccination effects may include mild lethargy for 24 hours<br>- Rare allergic reactions to vaccines discussed<br>- FNA results pending - will contact when available to discuss next steps</p></html>
