Hx Has been licking medial HLs. Lump near anus + rubbing rear. PE BAR MM pink and moist, CRT 1-2s Thoracic ausc NAD. No murmur. Normal bronchovesicular sounds. Abdo palp NAD. Medial HL skin looks normal, possibly mildly erythemic over stifle region RHL. Rectal- anal glands partially full, normal material expressed, don't feel thickened. Small cutaneous mass ventral to anus (approx 1-2 cm diameter, partially haired). Sanguinopurulent material expressed with mild pressure. Temp 38.2Cytology medial HLs- occasional cocci pair. Assessment 1. Perianal massSuspect inflammatory. Ddx neoplasia. 2. Licking medial HLsSurface pyoderma based on cytology but skin does not look very inflammed. Will assess response to amoxyclav + prednisolone. Tx Amoxyclav 125 mg BID for 10 days, prednisolone 5 mg SID for 3 days then tapering as per label
