On Friday seemed to take a long time to come out of kennel when owner got home-which is very unlike her. Seemed lethargic. Had soft serve diarrhoea. No vomiting. Saturday still lethargic Panting a bit. Seemed flat. Today (Sunday) went to beach and had 3 soft serve diarrhoeas there. Still eating but not as enthusiastically as usual. This morning left some food in bowl but then finished it later in day. UTD with worming. Due for vaccination tomorrow but have no cancelled that and booked in for bloods instead. Gets fed kibble. Examine: Demeanour - QAR, sweet girl T: 39.5 HR: 126 RR: 40 mm:pink, tacky CRT: <2sec Weight: kg BCS: /9Cardiovascular - No murmur or arrhythmia auscultated. Respiratory - Normal resp rate and effort. Nroaml BVS bilaterally. Gastrointestinal - Comfortable on palpation. Urogenital - nsfMusculoskeletal - Ambulatory. No swelling or lameness. Integument - nsfNeuro - Normal mentation and gait. Eyes - Small amount clear discharge from right eye. Lymph nodes - nsf Problem list:Diarrhoea. Pyrexic Assessment:DDX Primary GIT (inflammatory, infectious, dietary indiscretion, mechanical obstruction, neoplasia), Vs extra GIT (renal disease, liver disease, endocrinopathy and metabolic disease, neoplasia), otherClient communication:STO about possible causes of diarrhoea. Discussed that Gypsy is showing some signs of dehydration and would benefit from IVFT. Offered admission tonight. O opted for outpatient treatment as already booked in with GP tomorrow. Treatment: Buprenorphine 0.015mg/kG SC Prokolin 5ml PO BID Plan:Re check at reg vet tomorrow. Is already booked in for bloods. Advised would benefit from IVF. Vital Signs
