FNA was performed and neutrophils and spindle cells were seen. Surgical biospy was recommended. O has come here to see if we can do it.<br>Was prescribed course of amoxyclav and meloxicam. O doesnt think lump has changed. Previous vet stained right eye with fluorescein and doesnt think tear duct is patent.<br>Plan book in for GA and surgical biopsy. Estimate being emailed to Owner.<br>Will send biopsy away for histo path. If neoplastic then look at options for referral for surgery.<br>O still has a few more days of abs and wanted some more meloxicam dispensed. Explained bottle of meloxicam has kg syringe. Give 50kg dose SID.<br>Dog is happy and friendly. Heart is ok.</p></html>

Hx: O reports that Tux is not bothered as much by the wound. Has not really improved, has still not been healing. Has also lost 4kg since last week. O has not changed diet, but he has been eating less over last 5 days, grazing more. Still very bright, not lethargic. EDUF normal, no V+ or D+. PE: BAR Integ: 1.5/2 cm excoriation on R testicle, crust present, erythema Assessment:1. Wound on R testicleLesion has not improved since presenting 1 week ago. Underlying infection/inflammtory process vs neoplasm vs 2. AnorexiaPlan: - Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid (12.5mg/kg) PO 7 day course - Continue with neocort cream 7 days. - Recheck in a week's time. If not improved then or becomes flat prior, to bring him in to undertake some blood work/further work up.

Hx: 6-8 weeks ago, Tux was playing outside on gravel and suddenly stopped, causing abrasion on testicle. Has not healed properly since then, due to the position of the wound constantly becoming in contact with the ground. O have tried putting E collar on many times so he cannot lick but always is able to remove it and does lick at the area. Otherwise, overall well EDUF normal, no V+, no D+, no C+. Is giving antol natural anti-inflammatory supplements. PE- Mentation: BAR, very hyperactive, likes treats - HR: NAD- RR: NAD- CRT/MM:<2secs/ pink and moist- Eyes: NAD- Ears: NAD- Dental: NAD- Integument: 2cm alopecic blackened lesion on ventral R testicle. No erythema, discharge, ulceration present. - Abd: NAD- MSK: NAD- Neuro: NADAssessment1. Round 2cm lesion on ventral aspect of right testicle Plan- Application of necort cream to the wound. - Administed methylprednisolne acetate (1ml/20kg) IM - Dispensed cephalexin (15mg/kg) oral 7 day course Client communication: O okay with plan, wanted to apply dressing/bandage to the area however explained difficult area to apply. Recheck in 7 days time. Discussed castration instead of undertaking above treatments but wants to wait until 3 YO to allow full growth.
