Reason: Check upHistory: Due for vaccination, however O would just like meet and greet and check up appointment today. Has been historically growly with vets. Is muzzle trained. Does not want dog to associate our clinic with fear/pain. Is dog reactive. Has a lump on left hind leg that has been present for about 3 months, inflammatory on FNA at previous vet, responded to neocort but reappeared. Now has similar lump on right hind leg.Examine:Demeanour: examined out the front, as waiting room full of dogs. No fearful or aggressive body languageTeeth: perfectEyes: NADEars: NADOral cavity: NAD Body condition: a little overweightCardiovascular: clear heart sounds, normal rate and rhythmRespiratory: NADLymphatic: WNLAbdominal/gastrointestinal: NAD Urogenital: NADMusculoskeletal: NAD Neurological: NADSkin: 8mm diameter slightly raised, thickened, haired dermal mass lateral aspect left metatarsus. Identical lump medial aspect right metatarsus. Looks like callus. Skin otherwise normalAssessment: Suspect lumps are due to pressure lying on hard surfaces.Plan: Monitor lumps for any growth. Offered vaccination as dog very well behaved today, however O really doesn't want any injections on the first visit.
