Reacting to palpation of thoracic spine. Integument - healthy skin and coatNeuro -no ataxia, normal CPEyes - no discharge, clearLymph nodes -  palpably normal  Problem list:Back painAssessment:No neuro deficits, ambulating normally. Has had similar episode in past - responded well to symptomatic treatment. If any deterioration- RV and further assessment recommended.  Client communication:Recommend strict rest and close monitoring. RV if any deterioration, if responding well to medication recommend RV with reg vet in 1-2 daysTreatment: Buprenorphine 0.2 ml IMMaropitant 0.4 ml SC Meloxicam 0.2 ml PO sid orally- IF eating normally tomorrow and no vomiting.
