Reason: still vomitingO called back, said Luna vomited when got home, even after waiting 1hr after the injectionAO advised to bring back in to monitor +/- further workup. -- MEMHistory:Still vomiting after injection today. Also regurgitated/vomited upon arrival to the clinic.O going to be out for the next few hours, so wants to at least bring her in for us to monitor.Client communication: discussed monitoring vs doing xrays to rule out gastric FB. O opted to do xrays, signed admission consent form. Will call in 1-2hrs once we get results.Anaesthetic: attempted to put IVC without sedation but was unsuccessful. Sedation: Butorphanol 0.2mg/kg (0.2ml) & Midazolam 0.1mg/kg (0.2ml) IM.Placed IVC R cephalic v. Induced with alfaxalone to effect IV.Maintained on O2 & isoflurane 2-3%.Radiographs: foreign material potentially in stomach seen on all views - small spatter of radiodense material, unable to identify specific material. On lateral view, seen in caudal aspect near ribs, on VD view seen cranial left stomach/abdomen. No obstructive pattern of intestines, faeces present in descending colon.Weird ribs ??Phone call: potentially gastric FB ? Seems suspicious on xrays. Unsure if this the underlying cause of the acute vomiting bu highly suspicious. Called owner to discuss finding -- recc either ex lap or monitor to see if will pass.O wants to do xlap but wants to do preapproval first.Uneventful recovery for anaesthesia. Client communication: pre-approval came back, but a bit later than we hoped. Discussed the following with O:-Initially kept Luna under GA assuming preapproval would be quick so we can go into surgery asap. Opted to recover her for now. -Can still do sx tonight but will be stay back fees at this time OR can go home tonight with plan to do sx tomorrow (if still nauseous). -O happy to take home tonight to monitor (if gets worse overnight, will go to emergency) and if still unwell tomorrow, will go ahead with exlap.Plan:Ondansetron (8mg) 1 wafer PO q8hrWill call in morning to see how Luna is going and if want to go ahead with sx.Applied bravecto spot on (discussed doing this with O earlier).    Vital Signs    Weight: 10.4;
