Await hx. **** Heart murmur- no coughing, no shortness of breath. See recent echo, specialist (visiting QVS Dr Richard Birchall) Stage B2 cardiac disease, mitral valve dz. Utd with monthly simparica trio. Current meds: - amoxyclav tablets (at home) - vetmedin 5mg PO BID - regular pentosan injections for arthritis PE: Puncture wounds ventral neck area & cranial LH thigh area. Mile cellulitis/odema ventral neck. Cardiac- grade 2 heart murmur*** Thoracic- NAD, no crackles or wheezes, nomral resp effort. Oral- pink MM Plan: Discussed conservative management vs sedation/brief GA stitch up. Owner elect sx.
