13/02/2026 Expressed ags. | 02/03/2026 Seen at SASH twice, Friday and again on Saturday. Bloods there relatively normal, mild inflammatory change. Treated with maropitant, paracetamol and buprenorphine. See hx attached to file. Slowly improving from episodes last week. Not giving Paracetamol or buprenorphine as o feels medications space her out too much. Has eaten treats and some dry food this morning. Refusing soft food. Owner's last delivery of soft food had a stronger smell than usual and o thinks perhaps not transported correctly with warm weather and spoiled. Vomited once on Thursday and not eating. Passed a soft yellow motion yesterday but otherwise nothing since. Drinking and urinating. Seems more normal in herself, getting her energy and usual demeanour back.
PE: Mild to mod dental dx canines. Other teeth slight dental dx. Eyes, LN, hrt/lng snds, abdo palp, skin, coat normal. HR96, reg. BCS 7.5/9. T38.7. Slightly tense on palpation of cranial abdomen but significant intra-abdominal fat and this is likely contributing.
Tx: Suspect primary GI. Fresh food supplied was chicken based so Campylobacter or Salmonella would be likely culprits. O cooked before feeding because it seems a little off. Recommend o discard this food. To feed small and freq meals. To take for short walks to stimulate gut. To monitor thirst, urination, faeces and energy levels. Return for bloods if not back to normal by Wednesday or waxing and waning symptoms.
