Appointment Notes: Licking paws - wanting to put Penny back on apoquel if possible.  TSHistory:In last week for ear infection. Licking paws over the weekend and not herself, very sad and uncomfortable. Owner has used apoquel for Penny in the past and had some left so restarted the laoding dose of 1.8mg bid on Saturday 28th Feb. Penny has been going much better with her ears since last week also. It's looking a lot less inflamed on otoscopic examination. Unable to visualise tympanic membrane as owner has given morning dose of drops but the skin in the ear canal looks a lot happier.   Assessment:1. Itchy  paws (no infection evident today)2. Otitis externa with cocci and yeast currently being treated and going wellPlan:1. Going to start apoquel again long term over warmer weather, continue with 1.8ml bid 2 weeks then sid ongoing. Can try off apoquel over winter 2. Treatment protocol to continue as instructed at last consult. Recheck  1 week
