Reason: Anal Gland Abscess Appointment Notes: Scooting, painful around bottom, diarrhoea, still eatingNot currently on any other meds.EDUD all normal.Good energy levels.O noticed yesterdayExamination:BAR.MM PM.Oral - 1/3 calculus, no gingivitis, unable to perform full oral exam.Ears + eyes NAD.HR - 140bpm, no murmur.Lungs NAD.Comfortable but tense on abdo palp.LN NAD.Temp 38.4.Large what appears to be an anal gland abscess, painful on palpation unable to express, very painful.No increase in size of the right anal gland.@12:45pm - took out for toilet walk, no urination but straining while defecating ( small bit of faeces came out eventually) - LH@2:45PM - took outside for toilet walk, no urination or defecation. She was dragging her bottom quite a lot along the grass - LH Plan:Bloods to check renal values before meloxicamMeloxicam for 5 daysNoroclav for 7 days, recheck in 7 days for anal gland expression.Recheck in 7 days to make sure abscess has gone    Vital Signs
