02/03/2026 Reason: limping (Normal Vet HILTON Vet) History: 3 days ago first noticed. becoming progressively worse. Feels is shifting hindlimb. Has had surgery on both hind legs for cruciate disease a few years ago. Not really seeing any intermittent lameness since then, will sometimes be stiff if goes for a big walk. Can not think of anything that could have triggered this. Still fairly active dog normally. Doesnt normally run about like crazy in yard. Still EDUF all as normal but a bit sad in himself. Difdnt want to go outside for a wee this am but did with owner assistance. Recovered well from the surgeries. Had MMP repairs done 6 months apart. Current medications: none What Preventative health cover is being used and do you need to purchase any today? Vaccination: Worming: Flea control: Heartworm Prevention: Examine: Mentation: BAR Body condition score: 3.5/5 MM: pink, moist CRT: <2secs HR: 114/min RR: intermittent panting LN: normal Temperature: NT Ocular: no redness or discharge Oral/Dental stage: Ears: nsf Cardiovascular: no murmur or arrythmia Respiratory: panting but no distress Gastrointestinal: nsf palpation but slightly tense Integumentary & lumps (measurement, location): thinish hair coat, slightly greasy Musculoskeletal: small amount effusion in right stifle and seems a bit sore when flexing leg. Mild crepitus in both stifles. Sensitive when palpating lumbar spine area but ok with hips being extending. Standing with right hind slightly abducted. Urogenital: Neurological: Problem List: soreness in right hind when flex stifle and also lower back. Assessment: Aggravation of existing stifle disease causing referred spinal/back pain. Treatment: Plan: NSAIDs- 50mg 1bid x5d then reduce to one and a quarter daily. Gabapentin 300mg BID REST On-going medications required: Y/N (use prescription tab for further supply): review with normal vet if not improving. Followup:
