Reason: Recheck lamenessHx - previously seen for LH non weight bearing lameness, but that resolved with metacam, although o felt that metacam tablets worked better than liquid.In the past 2 weeks has had LF lameness, intermittent, when Blossum is enjoying herself at beach lameness is not so apparent, but becomes more obvious after that. Gave her some metacam and didn't seem to help PE  - slight 1/5 lameness to LF apparent, but unable to localise any area of pain/discomfort, dog very stoicRH mpl palpableAll other limbs nad on ROM, digital palpation nad, nails and pads nadBoth anal sacs full and easily expressed fluid consistencyEars clean, teeth nad, skin and coat nadAssessment - chronic hx of intermittent shifting lameness, young dog as well, RH mpl, suggest start on cartrophen course as a long term management toolTreatment - stop metacam and try previcox instead, 1 and 1/4 tablet once a day for 5 days.
