HISTORY: Owner observed the pet being uncomfortable and hesitant to walk down stairs, favoring and licking the front right paw. Noted a skin infection in the same area a few years ago. Symptoms noticed just this morning, with some licking observed the previous night, often associated with rainy weather.

CLINICAL EXAM:
Demeanor: BAR, limited exam. Muzzled - just focused on point of interest today to try and keep dog below threshold
Skin: Noted a scrape on the main pad, no scabs, moistness, or oozing observed.
Musculoskeletal: Favoring front right paw, good range of motion through joints, no abnormalities in nails. Good range of motion across all 5 digits. Similar response to left fore paw
BCS: 5/9

Ddx: Trauma to the front right paw pad

TREATMENTS OPTIONS:
- Continue with Previcox as per label instructions
- Suggest foot bath in salty water to keep the area clean, since weather wet/muddy

PLAN:
- Administer Previcox daily for a few days as per label instructions
- Monitor the paw for any worsening of the condition or failure to improve
- Recheck if symptoms persist or worsen
