Lethargy and inappetence <br><br>Is this a pre-existing condition according to the client?<br>No<br><br>What is the next step?<br>In house comprehensive cbc &amp; biochem<br>If blood test is good - ok to manage as outpatient with maropitant, pro-kolin, RC GI tin &amp; oralyte. <br>_____________________________<br><strong>History:<br></strong>Adopted from rescue 1 week ago, was spayed before acquired. UTD with vax, due to nexgard today<br>Been isolated, seeing family member only, no contact with any dog<br>Been well all week, yesterday had new food - Saviour Life kibble with new biscuit treat. <br>Found 2 vomitus this am, defecated twice - normal stool, later the day had 2 more soft stool with speckle of blood<br>Poor energy and just want to rest in crate all day, not eating or drinking at all<br>Does like to chew off toys &amp; objects - nothing missing that O aware of. Generally remove toys that been chew up<br><strong><br>Examination:</strong><br>QAR, BCS5/9 - more energetic and engaging towards end of consult<br>HR = 132 = PR good intensity <br>Heart lung clear<br>CRT 1.5<br>MM pink moist<br>EENO = Desiduous teeth full mouth, oral cavity wnl. Pinna L mild dirt. Otoscopy both canals clear, TM intact<br>Abdo = Relax, no focal pain, no obvious FB palpable. No lip licking. Can feel spey scar wnl<br>LN = NAD<br>Temp = 38.1<br>Rectal = Mucosa normal, very mild brown stool on glove, no blood</p>

<div><strong>Assessment:<br></strong>Acute v+ &amp; d+ <br>DDx - dietary indiscretion, infectious (parvo?), FB<br><strong><br>Treatment:<br></strong>Venepuncture R jugular - very well behaved<br>Maropitant SC<br>Cleaned both ears with otoflush<strong><br><br>Plan:<br></strong>Home with prokolin, RC Gi tin, oralade<br>repeat blood in 1 week if well (biochem &amp; PCV)<br><br> <br><strong>Follow up/reminders</strong></div>
