Current Meds: Tick control performed by husband, apparently up to date - product TBC

EXAM
HR: 108. RR: 56. T: 39.8°C. MM: Slightly tacky. Hydration: Mild dehydration based on slightly tacky mucous membranes and capillary refill time 0.5 to 2 seconds slightly increased
Ears: Minor greasy discharge
Cardiovascular: Subtle LEFT sided murmur
Musculoskeletal: Weak although system seems okay
Abd palpn unremarkable
Dental grade 2
Diagnostics: Chemistry - largely unremarkable. Haematology - monocytosis, mild anaemia

ASSESSMENT
Fever of unknown origin - DDx: bacterial infection, immune mediated disease such as immune mediated anaemia, internal mass?
Internal bleed?

PLAN
Diagnostics:
- Owner to obtain urine sample for evaluation
- Blood smear review
- Recheck & repeat PCV tomorrow and assess for response to antibiotics

New Meds/Tx:
- Amoxicillin 200mg BID for 5 days

Client Comms:
- Recheck appointment scheduled for tomorrow afternoon 4:30PM (Monday, 2/3)
- Monitor red cells and assess response to treatment
