<html><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><p>Seen at reg vet Wednesday for left hind leg lameness last week, booked in for rads and sent home with meloxicam. <br>Thursday pm - up all night with diarrhoea<br>Friday ok<br>Saturday am vomited, diarrhoea throughout the day<br>Sunday vomited , off food all day, diarrhoea all day and night.<br>THis morning hasnot vomited, drank a little water and ate a little at 830am. Did a diarrhoea outside today and it seemed darker than previous. <br>Stpped the meloxicam Friday pm. <br>Owners report he is dull and not himself. <br><br>QAR in consult room.<br>Mm tacky andpink, crt<2<br>Eyes ears skin and coat nad. <br>HR100, strong pulse, resp effort normal.<br>Abdo soft and comfortable, no masses splinting or nausea noted on palpation. <br>T38.2, nothingon thermometer.<br>WHen stood up was still holding up the left hind. <br><br>Disc that GIT upsets can be caused by strerss, dietary indiscretions etc as well but given the meloxicam started the day before symptoms discontinuing is wise.<br>REcc supportive care and moniktoring for now, avoiding use of nsaids.<br><br>Plan:<br>admin 0.8ml maropitant SC<br>HOme with prokolin and recc bland diet (chicken and rice).<br>Sucralfate BID 30mins before meals for 2d as gut protectant. <br>Ring if concerned not improving. </p></html>
