20/02/2026 otoflush -twice a week when no infection only noticed a couple of days ago. Owner thought it got better after last visit to bundoora examine: very stenotic ear canals. Unable to put otoscope down to assess tympanic membrane. very smelly with lots of supportative gunk on swab of left ear Right ears black discharge left eye mild neovascularisation no ulceration present assessment: Cytological evalulation Left ear - rods ++++ right ear - malassezia ++++ Chronic Otitis externa Plan: Cytopoint 20mg given SQ Aurizon to be applied once a day 30 minutes after cleaning with otoflush. for 10 days. revisit to check if cleared. also told owner Couldnt confirm Tympanic membrane was in tact and advised her of middle ear signs and if she sees those then to stop aurizon immediately
