Reason: Excessively Licking - AMAppointment Notes: cannot give meds this morning, fasting incase requires sedation cfHistory:Presenting Problem: excessively licking - now has bald spots. Started on paws, now spreading up legs. O worried may be allergic to grass - was indoors but now going outdoors (last 4 weeks). Has been licking past 3-4 weeks. Unable to get gabapentin in this morning. No diet change. Nexgard spectra UTD. 8.16kg in cage today, 8.79 last time. Unable to get on scales today as bit owner. No stressful changes at home other than now being allowed outside. Owner concerned may be allergy to grass or birds that sit in the back corner of garden  Diet: Current medications: Examine:Demeanour: Hissing, did bite owner multiple times. Hands off exam and used images attached to file Skin: some hair loss on ventrum, no erythema. Otherwise only other areas of hair loss are on the forelimbs - toes, and caudal aspects. No scabbing, erythema very minimal.  Assessment:Contact allergy with pattern? Other causes of overgrooming stress, parasitic hypersensitivity, neoplasiaPlan:Discuss pred trial - o cannot tablet or get liquid in. Can trial depo today - but have made aware absolutely not a long term solution esp in this young of a cat. If positive result from depo may need to keep indoors from now on as the trigger seems to be having gone outsideTreatment: Depo 0.5mls sc - used AA to hold head down with towel and given sc over rump    Vital Signs
