She went back outside and started biting at grass- very unusual behaviour.  Continued to make sounds as if clearing her throatNo vomiting noted. No collapse.Owner gave her a treat which she ate ( after onset of above symptoms) - no regurgitation or vomiting.Owner also noted that were a lot of crickets out in the gardenPrevious medical history/medications: Prev arthrodesis R carpus 2025.No current medication  Examine:  Demeanour - Alert, but anxious at vet ( normal for Asha)T: 38.8       HR: 120      RR:panting     mm:pink     CRT: <2sWeight:33.2  kg       BCS:  5/9Cardiovascular - no murmur auscultatedRespiratory - normal lung sounds and resp effortNAD on palpation of trachea Gastrointestinal - comfortable on abdominal palpation. No abdominal distension. Urogenital -   NSFMusculoskeletal -  ambulatory x4, full MSK exam not performedIntegument - Healthy skin and coatNeuro -normal mentationEyes - clear, no dischargeLymph nodes -peripheral lnn palpably normalAssessment:No significant abnormalities detected on clinical exam- symptoms noted at home have resolved. At this stage suspect possible ingestion of foreign body/insect- no signs of obstruction/ongoing discomfortClient communication:Discussed above with owner. Recommended ongoing monitoring- if Asha not back to her usual self revisit with reg vet/emergency vet recommended.
