02/03/2026 SUBJECTIVE: 9:20aqm: JG : Presented by O' Belinda : Vomiting and haemorrhagic diarrhoea yesterday. Last vomited yesterday morning. Had haemorrhagic diarrhoea last night. Still eating (Prime100 SPD Chicken and Brown Rice wet food sachets) : Was assessed and Rx's at NSAEC Bundoora around midday yesterday: Rx incl Maropitant injection; oral Oralade electrolyte solution; Milpro GIWProph tablet; oral Pro/Pre-biotics : Has been on a monthly GIWProph +/- HWProph, probably NexGard Spectra, but has annual SR-12 HWProph injection OBJECTIVE: : T=38.5C; normal m-m's and skin turgor - CRT < 1 sec; NAD on cardiothoracic exam; soft GI contents on abdominal palpation; scant soft formed light brown faeces on DRE - Some traces of fresh blood and mucous ASSESSMENT: : Vomiting and mucohaemorrhagic diarrhoea: Suspect HGE PLAN: : Rx: Duplocillin 1.5ml s/c; Amoxyclav 250mg Tbs @ 250mg BID/5dd : Continue feeding Prime100 SPD Chicken and Brown Rice wet food sachets until at least 2dd after resuming normal faeces : Recommended ParaGard or Drontal GIWProph q3mthly long term : R/V if diarrhoea does not resolve within 2-3dd; sooner if still vomiting or still any evidence of blood in faeces tomorrow OR if Sadie becomes inappetant
