28/02/2026 Was clingy and abnormal when owner got home from work.  Vomited once, but then vomited again.
Yelping- potentially when abdomen was touched
Shaking

Examination;
HR; 140gd.  Temp 37.4
Hard to palpate abdomen as is stressed, but feels ok.  Not particularly uncomfortable feeling, and no FB's palpable
Normal faeces on rectal.
Emptied AG's.

Assessment;
Vomiting/ yelping
Temperature a bit low for breed

Treatment;
Maropitant injection + zofran wafer

20mins later dog was BAR.  Eating treats in consult and behaving quite normally.  Fine to go home but use a bland diet

admitted to hosp for obs before next available consult at 430
wagging tail, seems bright.
owner concerned he's vomited once this morning and seems not himself
he has a history of eating things he shouldn't.
this morning nothing funny in the vomit, mostly water she said. he's a fussy eater, hasn't really eaten much since yesterday. not unusual for him
lovely owner, has pet insurance. happy for us to give moripant in hosp if needs plus aware of consult fee.
will come back at 430pm to see cb
will montior in hosp until then, as per owner req
